Nest Egg Scholarship Program
The Junior Board of Rock Island was founded by a passionate group of women dedicated to supporting Visiting Nurses in our community. Today, we proudly continue that legacy by investing in the future of healthcare.
We are thrilled to award one outstanding Quad City student a $5,000 Nursing Scholarship to support their journey toward a career in nursing.
Scholarship Details
- Total Award: $5,000
- $1,250 per semester
- $2,500 per year for two years
- Recipient must remain in good academic standing to receive second-year funds

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be pursuing a degree in the nursing field
- Be a resident of Rock Island County, IL or Scott County, IA
- Be a woman or man
- Not be an immediate relative of any past or present member of the Junior Board of Rock Island
